Why do I come home in the middle of the night and can’t go to bed without checking the latest tweets? Am I so addicted? Or better to ask “Am I addicted to Twitter?”  Yes, absolutely I, ekamin , am!  It is all about the people I follow and their great tweets. The people I follow on Twitter are the professionals and they really help me with my PLN. If I have a question to ask, an information to get or need help, I know it is just 140 characters away. Once I tweet, I get my answer, no matter how far or what time it is.  Twitter is  all about you and the people you follow. ( I am definitely not talking about you followers!) If you want to learn and share new things then you should better have friends that are worth to follow.

Another  thing about Twitter is that it makes me creative and inquiring. I easily access new information, see what others do, how they  improve their skills in teaching, education, technology and many other things and all of these  new things give me a new perspective. They are all very inspiring, I must say.

It is an undeniable truth that Twitter is the center of the new world. I enjoy and benefit every character of my tweets. It is such a  great  experience to exchange ideas with other like-minded people who are educators and more. I am grateful to my  friends far away but still close…

    Hi Esra,
I think you’ve added a great list of educators here. It’s amazing to see how similar we think. I have 8 year old twins and loads of things to do yet whenever I find some time I sit in front of the computer. I have never been like this much addicted to anything else. Never ever spent so much time in front of the monitor before but you have a poin there, lots of great people I learn from and improve my teaching. I’m trying to compensate the lost time. I love being here although my kids complain and say ‘If you keep sitting there, we will ask daddy to remove it from home.’ :(

PS: wish you a happy ‘Bayram’
